Q: Does Utopia provide customization and tailoring services?
As Utopia’s products are manufactured overseas, we are unable to provide customization services for our customers. However, with export orders of a minimum quantity, we are able to customize variations of our products to cater to the market demand.


Q: Does Utopia provide alteration services?
Utopia does the following alteration
  • Length of pants, skirts and sleeves
  • Adjustment of elastic bands
  • Shifting/Adding of buttons
  • Darts alterations
Alteration services are only for Utopia products.
Alteration fees range from $2 to $8, dependent on type.


Q: Will my clothes shrink?
In general, the materials we use do not shrink. Most of the materials have been pre-washed. However, to increase the lifespan of your garments, it is best to avoid machine spin-dry and hot water treatment. Do note that some stretch materials will expand slightly especially if machine treated.


Q: What happens if the sequins come off or go missing?
Utopia provides repair work services. Charges are dependent on the damage. For online customers, extra beads and sequins will be provided.

Sizing and measurements guidelines:
Items are measured while laid flat. Due to different cuts for different designs, it is important to pay close attention to the measurements instead of relying solely on the size depicted.

Some garments may be pinned to the mannequin in the pictures. Thus, the most accurate method is to compare the garment measurements with something you already own.

To find out your personal measurements, simply follow the guidelines below:

Bust Measure around the fullest part of your bust. Keep the measuring tape aligned as you measure.
Natural Waist Measure around the slimmest part of your torso with two fingers in between the tape & your body. The tape should fit comfortably around your body.
Drop Waist Measure at 1 ½” below your natural waist using the same method for measuring your natural waist.
Hips Stand with your feet slightly apart & measure around the fullest part of your hips. The tape should fit comfortably around your body.
